At The Colour Kitchen you will experience the positive side of diversity. You will meet worldly people and you will taste worldly dishes. In addition together we want to make a difference, by helping people who are searching for a second chance.
That is what we call sincere hospitality: welcome to The Colour Kitchen!
Our concept
Together in stead of apart
By emphasizing the value of our colourful society, we show the world what diversity has to offer from a cultural and social point of view. We show this as a company in the hospitality industry, because eating together and cooking together unites.The kitchen and the table bring people from all kind of backgrounds together.
At The Colour Kitchen a very divers team works in the kitchen and in service. Next to that, we want to welcome as many different (colourful) guests as possible! So we can show the world how the most beautiful meetings with diversity take place.
Making a difference together
To us, ‘bringing together’ means that we can help people who have a distance to the jobmarket due to fewer opportunities, or because they weren't able to hook on with societies pase because of problems. We do this by offering them a professional education within a commercial setting and by giving them intensive social guidance.
Our activities
Hospitality
Our roots lie within the restaurant sector. In our opinion THE place where all kind of 'colourful' people work together and come together to taste and enjoy all the good things that the world has to offer. You should experience The Colour Kitchen, by visiting one (or both) of our restaurants. Currently there are restaurants in Amsterdam and in Utrecht.
Party catering: The Colour Kitchen on Tour
Now we are able to bring the positive energy of The Colour Kitchen to any desired destination within the Netherlands. With ‘on Tour’ we are going to organise events that make a difference together with our clients. A unique catering formula, where the social and sustainable character of the client will be enhanced. For the guest guts, genuineness and hospitality experience is a central theme.
Business catering: The Colour Kitchen at Work
We also bring that same energy to the work environment. Together with our clients, ‘at Work’ is going to find the new balance between commercial catering and sustainable business. This business catering formula is unique within the Netherlands. Social and commercial responsible entrepreneurship has a new image with The Colour Kitchen.
The Colour Kitchen Foundation
The Foundation is the entity that executes the social component of our concept. Our Foundation develops, finances and facilitates the apprenticeships of our locations. She does this by binding social partners, acquiring financial resources, offering social guidance and (together with ROC’s) validating our apprenticeships as genuine educations.
